No help for me and I followed all instructions to a "t" – my wife's computer had this issue for a long time and I youtube for info and tried to fix before and to no avail – today I searched YouTube again for solution and followed all your changes – I had to change 5 registry items and then rebooted and still Outlook does not allow files to be open in the email – very frustrating – any other advise you can provide? Thanks, Mike

I followed your instructions and it fixed the issue perfectly! Thank you so much for your help:) From what I understand, I think that Firefox changed the Registry and made it impossible to open the links.

Mike – Thank you so much, it absolutely fixeed my problem. It started about a month ago and I figured it was a policy or something on my computer because it was Outlook, and Word would not let me use hyperlinks. You said it was a value, I am not sure how it got changed I assume an update or something. Maybe when I updated Firefox and Chrome.
Thank you thank you, thank you!!

You enter the commands Benf listed by typing CMD in the start box and then in the command interface copy and paste each command and hit enter! Too easy! 🙂
