Our client, one of the UK’s leading support services companies are recruiting for an Administrator within their accounts team in North Dublin. The role is a temporary-to-permanent post so the ideal candidate needs to be immediately available.

The purpose of this role is to provide day-to-day accounts administration support to facilitate the efficient running of accounts payable processes, the ideal candidate must have an interest in the financial side of administration.

*****The ideal candidate needs to be a driver and have access to a car as the company are based in a remote industrial estate*****

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Delivers activities to support operational objectives
• Interacts with client or users around specific work efforts and deliverables
• Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standards
• Manages the activities of others to meet deadlines and quality standards taking account of impact outside area of responsibility
• Focus of work is predominantly against defined targets but performs a range of tasks from complex to straightforward
• Advising stakeholders on process in order to ensure that invoices are paid in a timely manner
• Liaise with suppliers and outsourced finance team over matters pertaining to invoice queries
• Liaise with internal stakeholders generally regarding AP issues, identifying process improvements or issues
• Working with the AP lead to implement process and system changes
• Involvement in processes across all AP including purchase card, expenses etc.
• Attendance at meetings to discuss AP related issues with internal stakeholders and our outsourced finance supplier.
• Involvement in the production of key analytics to monitor overall AP activity
• Manage communication activities via Email

2—Service Engineer in Ireland
My client is urgently seeking to recruit a Field Service Engineer for the Donegal / Letterkenny area on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
• To act as the Company’s ‘ambassador’ when attending customer site/s for support and maintenance activities
• To liaise with the local customer representative/s in order to diagnose faults and ensure a rapid, accurate and long-term ‘fix’ to problem
• To complete ‘fix’, and any necessary preventative maintenance work, to ensure IT equipment is returned to working order as quickly as possible and without the need to return to site to complete further work
• To ensure replacement parts are utilised only where the diagnosis proves it is essential to do so
• To ensure local customer representative/s is updated on call progress, fix or future action and likely timescales
• To advise local customer representatives on proper care of equipment and provide simple training or advice that will prevent the recurrence of fault
• To liaise with technical support personnel, where additional advice and guidance are needed to affective a ‘fix’. To act upon the advice of these staff and ensure a full understanding of their guidance to ensure future learning
procedures
• To submit activity reports (e.g. overtime, expenses, fuel returns) in a timely manner and in accordance with Company procedures
• To prepare ad hoc briefings / reports on work completed to enable future engineers to undertake work on recurring calls
• To proactively read technical documentation to ensure technical skills are up-to-date and effective
• To liaise with internal departments in a positive and professional manner (e.g. Customer Care Centre, Logistics, Contracts Administration, Finance, etc.)
Essential requirements below:
• Candidates must be based in the Donegal area, preferably Letterkenny.
• Technical background / Field based experience.
• The basic hours of work are 40 hours per week, however this role requires the availability for on call work, out of hours and weekend work.
